COVID-19 CLIENT RESOURCES

WELCOME BACK!

Hello everyone! It has been a very long haul these past 2 years under the chaos of COVID but thankfully, we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. We have some great news! We will begin in clinic appointments on Monday April 18th, 2022.

As we move forward, we will be keeping the safety and well-being of our clients and staff as priority. We will ask that if you are not feeling well or if you are waiting for COVID 19 results or have been exposed to anyone that has tested positive, or recently travelled, that you follow Public Health’s current protocol and rebook your appointment to a more appropriate time.

Although masks are NOT mandatory, it is our preference as a business that everyone entering the building have a mask on, especially due to the close proximity in our examination rooms. This policy has been implemented unanimously for the purpose of preventing the spread of COVID 19, so that we can continue to provide Veterinary care for our clients. As we begin the re-opening process, we will continue to monitor the situation of the effect of the reduced restrictions on the general public.
We will be continuing with social distancing within the clinic. In order to manage the amount of people coming and going from the clinic the front door will remain locked. Clients will be asked to call the clinic upon arrival for their appointment.

We understand that not all of our clients will be comfortable coming into the clinic just yet, so curbside appointments will still be offered. Clients need to inform us if they prefer curbside over an in clinic appointment when they are booking their appointment. We will also ONLY be accepting booked appointments, no walk-ins at this time.

Only ONE pet parent will be allowed in for their appointment.

Clients are to call the clinic when they arrive for their appointment. Our staff will continue to take information regarding your pet’s appointment over the phone. We will ask that clients remain in their vehicle until they are called to bring their pet to the front of the building or one of our team comes out to let you know we are ready for you. Clients will be asked to put their mask on before entering the building. If you do not have a mask when you arrive for your appointment we will provide you with one. We will ask that you sanitize your hands before entering the building as well. One of our team will escort you into the examination room where the Veterinarian will meet you and your pet. Once your appointment is complete, you will be directed to the Reception area to look after your invoice and from there you can leave the building from the front entrance. The examination room is cleaned before the next patient comes in so your patience during this process is appreciated as we continue to be vigilant with our cleaning and sanitization within the clinic. As we are re-opening at the beginning of our very busy flea, tick and heartworm season, if your pet is due for a 4DX heartworm test this year, we will be doing cubside for these appointments. Pet parents will be asked to wait in their vehicle while we do the 4DX heartworm test. One of our staff will return your pet to you after their testing is complete. We are accepting credit card, debit and etransfer only for payments.

We will also continue with curbside pick up for ALL food and medication orders. Please call the clinic when you have arrived to pick up your orders. We encourage payment over the phone to make the pick up process faster and more efficient .

Clients can continue to request appointments by using the appointment request form on our website or by text or email. As well, our Webstore is also available for your pet food orders for direct ordering, and do not forget your order can be shipped to your home for free if the order is $150.00 or more before taxes. As well, you can save up to 10% on your webstore orders if you use auto order.

We look forward to seeing you all in person again! Please feel free to contact the clinic with any questions or concerns. See you all soon!
