Debbie began working at Blue Cross Animal Hospital after graduation from Centralia College in 1983 — Holy Cow!! In the early nineties, she took a three year hiatus until her youngest son entered school on a full time basis, during which time she worked weekends at the Emergency Veterinary Clinic. Debbie works full time at the clinic, and is in charge of the surgical suite, providing surgical assistance and monitoring anesthesia. In addition, she performs labwork, assists with radiographs, monitors hospitalized patients, assists the veterinarians with her very capable “hands-on” abilities, and otherwise provides backup to the reception staff.
Debbie has been the Registrar for the Golden Triangle Veterinary Academy for the past 20 years, and she enjoys the continuing education this provides.
Debbie and her husband are proud grandparents of two beautiful grand daughters. Now that Debbie and her husband are recent “empty nesters” they are able to spend more time with their fur children, Ty and Poppy.
When not with her dogs or grand children, Debbie enjoys reading, travelling and is an avid music lover.
